It’s the Wingfeather Boys! I drew this ages ago, back in 2020, while listening to Andrew Peterson read On the Edge of the Dark Sea of Darkness aloud over livestream. Incredible to think about how far the animated series has come since then!

Okay I know that this is a break in the Bruno Madrigal appreciation posts, but I saw someone say that Artham Wingfeather is Bruno in a different font and now I understand why I love them both so much. 😭💚

Both sacrificial, highly protective, misunderstood and isolated uncles that were driven a little crazy by their pasts?

Both once the shining stars of the family driven to despair?

Hello Wingfeather Saga fandom. I do not know how active you are as I have not engaged with anything about it here on this platform. But after seeing a post insisting to still post in old fandoms, I needed to share what I have. Since i love the Arcadian Wild so much, i decided to watch the first two episodes of the Wingfeather Sage (since, y'know, they made music for it)

I fell in love with the design of Yurgen (also the Arcadian Wild's version of Yurgen's Tune makes me want to chew on a pillow it's so gppd) so i decided to draw him :] Again im only two episodes in so i don't know what his deal is yet lol

Thank goodness I'm not that late for @o0WhiteRabbit0o's Samantha's birthday (as well as her other character Quinn's early birthday). Anyway, while I have not yet read any of the Wingfeather Saga books or even seen the show, I just could not get that song out of my head. So I decided to do little Sammy singing it as Quinn, Rikki Raccoon, and Little Big Guy (from Pascal's Dragon and it makes sense adding him here since this song is about a dragon after all) watch in amazement.

Note. I actually had done the sketch and was working on the piece last year, but since I didn't finish in time, I had to wait till this year. Hope you guys like this and happy birthday, Sammy. I don't own these characters.

Leeli is a wonderful, sweet little girl and I love her music when she sings and plays her whistleharp. 💖🩵✨🌼

She is my favorite character and I feel more connected with her because she loves animals, music, and I like the leaves on her hair. I also love her pet dog named Nugget, he’s a brave dog and a good boy. 💖

Romy Fay, who voices Leeli, did an amazing job, especially singing the song called Yurgen’s Tune for Leeli & The Sea Dragon Song. I enjoyed listening to that song and the other version of Yurgen’s Tune. 💖🌟✨🎶

I kept humming or singing this song out loud when I’m drawing, and this song really made me feel something like what the characters said in season 1 episode 1. I can’t wait to hear more songs and Leeli singing when season 2 comes out. 💖
